Srinagar: Class 4th aspirants who had applied for the posts in various departments in 2006 on Thursday held a protest demonstration in Baramulla.

The aspirants said that they had applied in different departments in 2006 and till date the government has failed to publish the selection list of the candidates.

The protesting aspirants marched through different roads of Baramulla town and ended their protest outside Deputy Commissioner’s office in Baramulla.

Outside the DC office, the aspirants while raising slogans against the government staged a sit-in protest.

“We have been waiting for the last 12 years. It is an irony that till date the government has failed to publish the selection list,” they said.
