Srinagar: Army on Thursday killed a non-local labourer during an ambush in Rangward area of Kralpora in northern Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Sources said that the army’s 3 grenadiers had laid an ambush at Syedpora Rangward area of the district and a non-local labourer was walking to his workplace when the army fired at him this morning.

Srinagar-based defence spokesman Col Rajesh Kalia said that the army is ascertaining the details.
