Srinagar: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri today withheld the salary of two officers for not attending the ULB Election meeting.

The officers include Assistant commissioner Development (ACD) Akhter Hussain Qazi and DFO Social forestry.  The officers are appointed as nodal officers for Man power, training Management and maintaining liaison with election observers respectively.

The DC has sought explanation from the erring officers before initiating disciplinary action.
