Islamabad: Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Masood Khalid has said Islamabad and China are working for establishing peace in the region.
Besides giving a new dimension to the bilateral relations between Islamabad and China, China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), it has provided job to at least 70,000 Pakistani citizens, he added, a report in Radio Pakistan said.
Talking to PTV on Saturday, Mr Khalid said nine universities in China had started teaching Urdu language while 25,000 Pakistani students were studying in Chinese educational institutions, a report in Radio Pakistan said.
Efforts were being made to promote Pakistani films and dramas in China, and enhance interaction between the media of two nations, he added. (UNI)
