Srinagar: A Srinagar resident was killed in a road accident at Pattan in Baramulla district while his son suffered injuries after a speeding bus hit the vehicle they were traveling in.

The slain has been identified as Onkar Singh while his injured son has been identified as Rajpal Singh, residents of Aluchi Bagh in Srinagar. Reports said that Onkar died on the spot.

Eyewitnesses said that the speedy bus bearing registration number JK01C-0782 hit the alto car bearing registration number JK01J-6169 resulting on spot death of Onkar Singh.

Police have registered a case into the accident.
