Head on collision between lorries at Lethpora leaves Sopore driver critically injured

Srinagar: A lorry driver was on Friday critically injured after two lorry’s collided head-on at Lethpora on Srinagar-Jammu highway in Pulwama district.

Police officials driver of one of the lorry’s was critically injured in the accident and he was shifted to Sub-District Hospital Pampore.

The injured driver was identified as Muhammad Amin Dar, son of Ghulam Nabi Dar. Dar was driving a lorry bearing registration number JK05C-2924 when it collided with another lorry bearing registration number PB05AB that was driven by Mewan Singh, son of Sadhu Singh, a resident of Nama Chiwa Gurdaspur in Punjab.

Meanwhile doctors at the SDH Pampore said that the injured driver has been referred to Srinagar’s SKIMS hospital for specialized treatment.
