Anantnag: Five persons were injured during protests which erupted following rumors that the supreme court was hearing Article 35A petition challenging it’s vires today. 

Five persons with pellet gun injuries in head, eye and abdomen were brought to the medical facility.

They were identified as Aaqib Rasool s/o Gh Rasool R/o Lalchowk Anantnag , Gh Nabi shah resident of Tajiwara, Shahnawaz Ahmad resident of Khudwani , Zahid Malik resident of Shamsipora and Gowhar Yousuf s/o Mohd Yousuf resident of Nai Basti.
