Three militant hideouts busted, four arrested in Pulwama

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police has busted three hideouts of militants, arrested accused and recovered incriminating material along with arms and ammunition in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, a police spokesman said on Saturday evening.


He said Police along with security forces busted a hideout from a house in Rajpora Litter and arrested a key Over Ground Worker (OGW) from the said house. Incriminating material along with IED material was recovered from the hideout.

In another operation two hideouts were busted in Khallen & Tahab villages of Pulwama. From these hideouts, an AK Magazine, one Insas Magazine & a UBGL were recovered. Three accused persons who were working for outlawed Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) were arrested.

Cases under relevant sections of Law were registered in Police Station Litter and Police Station Pulwama respectively. Investigation in the said cases is in progress.
