Jammu: Three people arrested on Friday with contraband of heroin in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.

“Police this morning during a routine checking at Marheen intercepted a car,” official spokesman here said.

Around 55 grams of heroin was recovered from their possession and they were arrested on the spot, he said.

The accused persons named as Alam Din, Lal Hussain both residents of near Batra Hospital Sidhra, Jammu and Mohammad Yousaf, resident of Samba.

A case under NDPS Act was registered and investigation started.
