Delhi: A 13-year-old in Bihar was allegedly raped by eighteen people, including her school principal and two teachers, for seven months.

The teenager has alleged that she was raped by 15 students of the school too, during this period. The principal and a teacher were arrested on Friday. Two students of the school have been detained.

The girl, in her complaint to the police, said that she was blackmailed and gang-raped by the accused ever since her father went to jail in December last year. The girl has named 18 people in her complaint.

The teenager says she was first raped and blackmailed by a classmate in December. In the days and weeks that followed, four to five other students, the principal and two teachers allegedly raped her.

The blackmailing continued and the number of people who raped her went up to 18, according to the complaint.

The girl said her ordeal continued for seven months till her father was released from jail. She approached the police with a complaint against the principal, teachers and her schoolmates.

A case has been registered at the Ekma police station in Chhapra’s Parsagarh, based on the girl’s statement taken at a women’s police station.

After her complaint, police arrested the principal and one teacher, and detained two students. Police said they are on the lookout for the others who have been named in her complaint. (Indian Express)
