JKLF chief Yasin Malik arrested ahead of strike call

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik was detained from his residence in Srinagar on Monday.

Sources said that Malik was arrested from his Maisuma residence early Monday morning and lodged at Kothibagh police station.

Meanwhile chairman Peoples’ Political Party (PPP) Er Hilal Ahmad War was put under detention at his Maisuma residence.

Earlier Joint Resistance Leadership has called for shutdown against continuous civilian killings in the valley.
