A 42-year old man was crushed to death in Sopore on Monday after he was hit by a train.

The deceased has been identified as Ghulam Mohammad Rather son of Ali Mohammad Rather resident of Chekpora Hygam.

The incident took place today afternoon at Hygam area of Sopore when a fast moving train hit him resulting to his on spot death, sources said.

Meanwhile a case has been registered in this regard.
