A group of masked militants on late last night appeared in a local mosque in Hajin town of north Kashmir’s Bandipora disctrict, police said.

Senior Superintendent of Police Bandipora Sheikh Zulfiqar Ahad while confirming the news to Kashmir Press said “we came to know that the militants appeared in a mosque at Bon-Mohalla of Hajin town and addressed the gatherings of 15 youths”.

However local sources said that the gatherings comprised of hundreds were addressed by the militants.

“In their speech they appealed the people particularly youth of the town and adjoining areas not to visit the police stations and army camps stationed in the area,” they said.

Further they warned not to visit these places.
