Army on Wednesday claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid in Machhil area of Kupwara in north Kashmir by killing three militants.

An army spokesman said three militants were killed while they were trying to infiltrate into this side of the Line of Control in Machhil.

He said searches are being conducted in the area. “More details are awaited,” he said.
