Militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba on Wednesday claimed responsibility for the attack on an army camp in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district previous night.

Lashkar-e-Toiba spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi in a statement issued to a local news agency said that the outfit carried out the ‘fidayeen attack’ on army camp in Hajin.

“He claimed killing of three soldiers in the attack. However, police and the army said no loss of life took place,” reports said.

Pertinently a group of militants opened fire and lobbed grenades on the army’s 13 RR camp late last night.
