Srinagar: Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, on Thursday, expressed serious concern over the plight of political prisoners lodged in various jails and demanded their immediate release.

Waza said while visiting the family of detained youth Parvaiz Ahmad Butt and Sujatal Islam at Dadsar in Tral.

Meanwhile he appealed international community to look into the growing human rights violations.

He said that despite Court’s release order the prisoners are continuesly under cage, which is shame for the forces.
