JAMMU: The General Public is hereby informed that in order to maintain the Dam and Power House of Salal Power Station and to retain the water at a required level, officials cautioned.

Officials added that the water level of Chenab River can increase or decrease at any point of time in between 6 am to 6 pm on May 31, 2018.

Hence people residing besides the upstream and downstream of Salal Dam are requested not to venture near the River bank. They are also advised to avoid their cattle and trucks going to the river side.

People are asked to co-operate, share and spread this information amongst the village community and also inform their family members.

“Salal Power Station Authorities will not be responsible for any kind of loss incurred to life or commodity,” officials cautioned.
