Srinagar: After Sushil Pandit and republic TV journalist, Aditya Raj Koul, the known Islamophobe, Madhu Kishwar has spread a fake information with an intention to malign the image of Director General of Police (DGP) SP Vaid.

In a tweet, Kishwar wrote that she has come to know from Sushil Pandit that the Superintendent of Police, (SP) who was involved in the killing of militant commander Burhan Wani in the year 2016, has been transferred since chief minister Mehbooba was upset with that particular security operation.

“Shocked to learn from @neelakantha that @spvaid –the DG of J&K actually suspended the SP who killed Burhan wani in an encounter–all because @MehboobaMufti was upset at killing of Burhan. A DG playing doormat to jehadi politicians– Is this what IPS training is all about?” Kishwar tweeted from her twitter handle.

Soon after she posted the fake information, Jammu and Kashmir Police came into action and rebutted the fake information, but with a tinge of softness.

“More than shocked to read concocted information being shared by a senior journalist like you @madhukishwar .No SP has been suspended. Kindly check before sharing such information’ JK police tweeted in response to the Kishwar’s tweet.

Interestingly, the police did not file a case against Kishwar who spread the fake information from her twitter handle.

It goes against the claims of the police that it will book any person found involved in spreading fake information.

Earlier, on Sunday Aditya Raj Koul turned into a saboteur when he questioned New Delhi’s Ramzaan ceasefire in a series of tweets by basing his arguments on completely unverified information.

Kaul, associate editor at The Republic TV, wrote in a tweet that 28 CRPF men were injured after their convoy was hit by stone pelters.

Later, the police exposed the claims of Kaul when it released a footage which clearly showed that there was no stone pelting in the area when a truck carrying CRPF men turned turtle due to careless driving- causing injuries to over dozen of them.

Prior to Kaul’s attempts to incite violence and stoke passions in the absence of facts, another known provocateur from the same community Sushil Pandit turned into a rumour monger on 21 May when he spread a fake news declaring that five CRPF personnel were killed in South Kashmir’s Pampore area.

The police filed case against Pandit for spreading fake information.
