A 38-year old man was found dead with his throat slit in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district in the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.

The man has been identified as Mohammad Yaqoob Wagay (38), a butcher by profession, was found dead outside his house at Gund Prang village.

Police said that some unknown gunmen three to four in number barged inside his house and abducted him.

The police have lodged a case and launched an investigation in this regard,  he said.
