At least four civilians have been killed and 30 others injured in a night long shelling from across the border at Samba .

Reports said that heavy firing was reported in Hiranagar, Samba, Kathua, Arnia and RS Pura areas of Jammu division throughout the night.

The situation has worsened at the border as over 40,000  villagers living along the LOC have been  forced to migrate from their homes due to the shelling

Schools in the 5KM radius have also been closed in the area along the border
