Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Saturday was arrested after trying to march towards Lal Chowk.

Authorities on Saturday sealed the historic clock tower in city center Lal Chowk and imposed restrictions in various areas of srinagar ahead of the call given by Joint resistance leadership protesting the visit of Indian prime minister Narendra Modi to Srinagar .
