22 missing in fast flowing stream after bridge collapsed in Neelum valley   

Muzzafarabad: At least 22 people were swept away by fast flowing water in the Jagran Nullah, Neelum Valley in Pakistan Administered Kashmir (PaK), the express tribune newspaper reported.

“35 members of the group were crossing the Kundal Shahi bridge in Neelum Valley when it collapsed early Sunday Morning,” the newspaper stated.

The newspaper reported that rescue teams have recovered at least five bodies from the water while search operation for the rest is under way.

“11 injured tourists have been moved to local hospital for medical treatment,” it added.

The newspaper reported that PaK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan also reached the scene to personally supervise the rescue operation.
