Kashmir Police today booked a Kashmiri Pandit Ashish Kaul  after he rolled out few abusive tweets from his twitter handle.

Earlier, Kaul in a series of tweets had promoted and propagated rape and murder of Kashmiri women

Police in Kashmir took cognizance of the matter after it found tweet posts were abusive and attract offences covered under law.

Consequently Police has registered a case in this matter at Police Station Kothi Bagh under FIR No: 39/2018 under section 505(1) C RPC, 66 IT Act.

Further Investigations in the instant matter have been started to ascertain the facts pertaining to the case.
