Sushma expresses happiness after Kashmiri man changes his twitter profile address

Minister of external affairs, Sushma Swaraj expressed happiness after a Kashmiri man changed his twitter profile address from Indian occupied Kashmir to Jammu Kashmir India.

Earlier, a man identifying himself as Sheikh Ateeq had tagged Sushma in a tweet seeking her help with his passport. “I m from j&k doing medicine course in Phillipines my passport got damaged i applied for new one month ago i request u plz help me get it as i literally need to go home for medical check up (sic),” ateeq wrote in a tweet

Sushma, however was quick to notice that Ateeq’s address was mentioned as Indian occupied Kashmir and hence tweeted back reminding him of the same, “If you are from J&K state, we will definitely help you. But your profile says you are from Indian occupied Kashmir’ There is no place like that,” she responded.

After the response, Ateeq changed his profile which was acknowledged by the minister.

However, later Ateeq’s account was inaccessible suggesting he might have deactivated his profile
