The students of Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST) Awantipora on Wednesday staged a protest against the recent civilian killings in Kashmir.

Sources said that hundreds of students after boycotting the classes assembled in the premises of the University and held protests against the recent civilian killings in Shopian.

Chanting pro-freedom slogans, they were demanding an end the “unabated killings” in Kashmir.

Pertinently, Six civilians and five militants were killed by the government forces on Sunday.
