Pyongyang on Monday termed the first ever summit between the President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un as an ‘misleading’ and said that it is his policies that drove us to the ‘conferring table’, AP reported.
Media reports said that their claims are a not mere than a “dangerous attempt” to ruin a budding detente on the Korean Peninsula after Kim’s summit late last month with South Korean president Moon Jae-in.
Reports said that a number of measures are aimed to progress in the summit between the North-South ties. “It is also believed that they may discuss the denuclearization of the peninsula,” reports said.
The reports suggested that the Washington’s tough policy toward North Korea, and the pressure on its main trading partner China, have played the main role in extremely tense situations.
