While paying rich and glowing tributes to the militants killed in an encounter with government forces in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Sunday, Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) said that “India is interested only in Kashmir land without Kashmiri people”.
JKDFP in a statement said that New Delhi is busy in a “well planned genocide” of Kashmiri people. They said that the Indian is only “interested in Kashmir but not in Kashmiri people” who fight for their political rights since last seven decades.

A Freedom Party delegation led by Engineer Farooq Khan, visited the homes of slain civilians and exhibited solidarity with the bereaved families.

The party warned that the situation would turn violent if the voice of the people is not heard by the International bodies.
The party expressed shock and grief over the fresh killings by the occupied forces and their collaborators in Shopian including brave hearts and unarmed civilians.

Terming the killings as unfortunate, a Freedom Party spokesperson said in a statement said that the sole reason behind the killings is the inclination of Kashmiri people towards freedom.

The Freedom Party spokesperson said that Kashmiri’s are being massacred by the so called largest democracy of the world and irony is that the whole world is watching as mute spectator. Freedom Party reiterated its appeal to the international community to act before Kashmiri’s are wiped out by India.

Five militant’s as much as five civilians were killed by the government forces’ besides injuring almost 50 persons near the encounter site in Shopian area of South Kashmir.
