Intense clashes were erupted between government forces’ and locals in Badigam area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district, soon after the news of the gunfight spread.

Sources  said youth took to streets and while trying to march towards encounter site pelted  stones to forces’ who retaliated by firing pellets and tear gas.

An encounter is going on in Badigam village of Shopian and exchange of firing is going on.
