A camera man of Information department was killed during an accident in Jammu.

The camera man’s car was part of the deputy cheif ministers cavalcade and met an accident near Gangyal Jammu.

“He has been identfied as Suram singh,” an official in the information department said. “His car skidded into the near by nallah (stream) and the water flowing in the stream got blocked. He ultimately died of drowning”.

The death of Suram has send a pall of gloom in the information department.

Senior officials of the department including Director Information, Muneeb Ul Islam have rushed Jammu to meet the bereaved family.
